How many times have you walked into Sephora or Ulta and say the most beautiful palette ever with the most pigments smooth colors, and just when you pick that beauty up to see if its worth your purchase you see its $50 bucks and your broke little heart just breaks into a million pieces? Well for me its happened to many times. Being a jobless high school senior who is soon entering being a broke college student buying makeup isn’t a priorty, but I do have a bit of an addiction and I’m always buying it! Over time it racks up a pretty good amount, so when I saw the Urban Decay Naked Palette for the first time about a year or so ago I HAD TO HAVE IT, but of course never got it. Just when I was going to give in, I found this Forever21 “dupe version” of the naked palette & really feel in love. Not only because it pretty much had the exactly same colors ( (except creep & gun metal, but no biggie) as urban decay did but also because it was only $7!

It seems like everybody and their mothers is dying their hair. Dip dye hair has been very “in” lately. It’s one of those trends that I know is going to come and go, but as it is here its getting alot of attention from Hollywood and from little ole blogger like me. I love how looking like a punk my little pony is totally acceptable now, I really do. Most people wouldn’t want their hair to look anything but natural, but heck you only live once and this trend is as semi-permanent as the dye. Celebration like Lauren Conrad, Katy Perry, and of course Lady Gaga have gave in to this dip dye craze, and recently so have I. I absolutely love it, I feel like I need a safety pink vest and matching pink over sized cardigan to complete my vibrant girly but punk hair.

How to dip dye:

1. take a bleaching kit and bleach the ends of your hair, this usually takes 30 minutes to and hour depending on how dark your hair is

2. after bleaching your hair let it air dry (heat absolutely can not be applied to freshly bleach hair) until its damp so the color can stick

Now there are a couple ways you can dip dye but the way I did it was with food coloring:

1. mix the food coloring of your desired “dip dye color” with white deep conditioner until your color is exactly how you want it

2. seperate you hair so you can apply a thick layer of the color to your hair

3. let it sit for 1 to 2 hours (depending on how long you want the color to remain in your hair)

I have been obsessed with spikes, studs, or pretty much anything that looks like it could put a puncture in the skin I’ve been oddly really into it lately. Companies like The Ragged Priest, Jeffery Campble, and even Christian Louboution have completely understood the concept this “beauty is pain” look. The minute I saw one of my favorite youtube gurus NiaSays rocking a denim jacket with silver serious spiked studs literally covering her shoulders, like she was some sort of fashion football player, or untouchable modern female warrior I died a little bit on the inside. A couple weeks later I saw them….Christian Louboution spiked smoking slippers., which may I add are $1900 but they are soooo beautiful I know I must get them someday.

Ben Breedlove & his story.

This is not a sad story but an incredibly inspiration and heartwarming one. An amazing & inspiring kid named Ben Breedlove passed away Christmas day. His heart condition made his life really difficult, & he cheated death several times. However he always stayed positive. People like him are what remind me how good God is & how important it is to not take life for granted, ever. RIP Ben & thank you for sharing your story with the world. It’s truly given me and millions of others a new perspective.

Hey you guys! So I hope everyone had a very good Christmas and ate alot of spent alot of time with family, I know I did. I got a request on twitter to show what I got for Christmas, and I filmed it post Christmas (at 1am!) because I was actualyy excited about the things I got. Sadly I did not get Doc Marten ”insert sad sound effect here” …however I did get some really cool black velvet wedges and liquid leather leggings which look so cool on you guys don’t even know. Also I got the ultra hd flip cam, which i’m so excited for because I can vlog so much more and my videos will be way better quality. Yay!

Christmas Eve Bloggin’

Hello internet! So I thought I would take the time to get some blogging in while my family is currently watching football and/or playing board games. Holiday break so far has been good, I haven’t got as much sleep and relaxation as I planned because I’ve still been really busy but its still been good. Not looking forward to going back to school in a week in a half, but I’m sure my second semesester of senior year will be much easier then the first. As much as I know I’m not going to, but a little part of me still has hope that I may finally get a car for Christmas, which would just make my whole life…but I highly doubt I will. Other than that I asked for alot o clothes this year, and of course DOC MARTENS. Ohmygosh if I got them I just might cry. Its my last Christmas before I go to college so I’m definately going to enjoy being spoiled one last year. However, I also try to remember to apperciate and instill in others who forget, the real meaning of Christmas. I’m beyond blessed and incredibly grateful for the family and friends and of course AWESOME reader I have. SERIOUSLY, love you guys more and more. Well I have nothing more to say so I’m off to eat more gingerbread cookies and occupy myself until midnight when I can open presents, and find which channel will have Elf on this year (must watch holiday movie) . Merry Christmas! :]
